Insight Lab is a trading name, not a separate limited company. Contact the trader for help with purchases and consumer rights. Purchases outside the free quiz are optional.
Free challenge and optional paid report
Taking the 40-question Insight Lab challenge is free. Buying the personalised report is entirely optional. You can complete the challenge without buying anything, and there is no obligation to purchase after taking part.
If you choose to buy the report, you receive a personalised PDF including your score out of 40, one of seven descriptive levels, four topic breakdowns, your responses and explanations for all 40 questions.
This is an educational and entertainment exercise. It is not a validated intelligence, personality, deception-detection or psychological assessment, and it provides no medical, legal or professional advice.
Optional payment
If you decide to purchase the report, the price starts at £1.00 GBP, paid once through the Ko-fi Shop item titled “Dark Psychology — Personalised Report”. The Ko-fi “Pay what you want” option allows you to voluntarily pay more than £1; any additional amount is your choice. The total is shown at checkout before you pay. There is no subscription or recurring charge. The £1 payment is a price for digital content, not a donation required to participate in the free quiz.
Ko-fi and its connected payment provider process payment information. Insight Lab does not ask for or store your card details. Ko-fi provides the payment/order confirmation through its checkout workflow.
Delivery and email matching
Complete the quiz before paying. Enter the same email address on Insight Lab and at Ko-fi checkout so the order can be matched to your saved answers. Ko-fi provides access to a general purchase-instructions PDF, while the personalised result PDF is generated separately and emailed following a verified eligible payment.
Delivery is automated but may be delayed by payment notifications, email delivery, filtering or temporary technical problems. If you do not receive your report, check spam and contact the support address with your order reference; do not send card details. If the email addresses differ, manual verification, fulfilment or a refund may be needed. We will not release one customer's report to another person.
Help with an order and your rights
The purchase is optional, so there is no obligation to buy a report. If you do buy one and it does not arrive, the wrong report is delivered, or something does not work as described, contact office.mpservice@gmail.com with your Ko-fi order reference. We will investigate and provide an appropriate resolution.
Your statutory consumer rights still apply to an optional purchase. Under applicable UK rules, a 14-day cancellation right may apply to digital content. This right can be lost when digital supply begins during that period only after the legally required express consent, acknowledgement and confirmation have been obtained. Before proceeding to checkout in Insight Lab, customers must separately confirm their express request for immediate digital PDF supply and acknowledge what happens to their cancellation right once supply begins. Accepting these general terms alone does not waive that right. Your rights regarding digital content that is not supplied as described remain unaffected.
Insight Lab Cognitive Challenge — project-support access in Ko-fi Shop
Cognitive Challenge includes 36 educational reasoning and attention tasks in English, Polish, German and Spanish. A one-time Ko-fi Shop payment of at least £2 GBP unlocks the full challenge, its results, six skill-area breakdowns and all answer explanations. You may voluntarily pay more than the minimum. There is no subscription. The results can be printed or saved as PDF from your browser. The separate Dark Psychology PDF report remains a different Ko-fi Shop item from £1 GBP.
The payment is consideration for digital access, even though we call it “Support Projects”. It is not an unconditional donation. Shop payments, applicable consumer rights and accounting/tax treatment are governed by the relevant rules. Ko-fi/its payment provider processes card details; Insight Lab does not hold card information.
Buying after starting on the quiz website: Open the Cognitive Challenge website, enter your email and accept the requested terms to generate a personal COG-XXXXXXXX reference. Open the linked Ko-fi Shop item, buy once for £2 or more using the same email. Where Ko-fi offers an optional message field you can include the reference, but for that specific Shop item it is not mandatory. The verified payment unlocks the waiting quiz session and sends a personal access/resume link to the same email.
Buying from Ko-fi Shop first: You may buy the dedicated Cognitive Challenge Shop item directly without generating a reference beforehand. We will create an access record when we receive the verified Shop order and email the buyer a private link to begin the quiz. Do not pay again after following the Shop's redirect to the main quiz page; check your email, including spam, for the private link. Normal one-time Ko-fi tips outside Shop also work if the exact COG-XXXXXXXX reference and same email are included after starting a session on the quiz site. Unrelated tips and Shop purchases do not unlock this quiz.
Automatic confirmation or email delivery may sometimes be delayed. If your payment is verified but access fails or you entered a different email, contact office.mpservice@gmail.com with the transaction reference. Never send payment-card details. The private access link can be used by anyone who possesses it, so keep it confidential. Access and stored answers are removed under the retention schedule in the Privacy Policy.
Digital content is provided after confirmed payment. Where a consumer cancellation right applies, any loss of the 14-day change-of-mind right to cancel depends on legally required express consent, acknowledgment and confirmation; acceptance of general terms alone does not waive that right. Your statutory rights to remedies for faulty or undelivered digital content are not excluded.
This is an original educational reasoning exercise, not a clinically validated IQ, driver psychotechnical, employment-selection or diagnostic assessment.
Data and changes
How we handle email addresses, quiz responses, payment references and generated reports is described in our Privacy Policy. We may update these terms prospectively, but any changes will not retrospectively remove rights that apply to an order already placed.
